1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of immigration advisory services provided by Meridique and access to our website. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to enter into this agreement. If you are engaging our services on behalf of a minor or as a legal representative, you warrant that you have the legal authority to do so.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • "Service" refers to immigration advisory services provided by Meridique, including visa extension assistance, work permit processing, LTR visa advisory, and related immigration consultation.
  • "Client" or "You" refers to the individual or entity engaging our services.
  • "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Meridique, a registered immigration advisory service in Thailand.
  • "Agreement" refers to these Terms together with any service engagement letter or contract.
  • "Government Authorities" refers to Thai Immigration Bureau, Department of Employment, Board of Investment, and other relevant regulatory bodies.

3. Service Description

Meridique provides immigration advisory services in Thailand, including:

  • Non-immigrant visa extension processing and documentation
  • Work permit application and renewal assistance
  • Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa advisory and application support
  • Immigration consultation and compliance guidance
  • Document preparation and verification services

Our services are advisory in nature. We provide professional guidance and assist with document preparation and submission, but final decisions on visa or work permit applications rest with the relevant Government Authorities. We do not act as legal representatives in immigration proceedings.

Service availability may vary based on current immigration regulations and Government Authority procedures. We reserve the right to decline services if we determine your matter falls outside our scope of practice.

4. Client Responsibilities

As a client engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information for your application
  • Submit all requested documentation in a timely manner
  • Inform us immediately of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your application
  • Comply with all requirements and deadlines set by Government Authorities
  • Review all prepared documents before submission and notify us of any inaccuracies
  • Pay all agreed fees and Government filing charges on time
  • Maintain valid contact information throughout the service period

Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in processing delays, application rejection, or service termination. You acknowledge that providing false or misleading information may have legal consequences under Thai immigration law.

5. Fees and Payment Terms

5.1 Service Fees

Our service fees vary based on the type and complexity of immigration services required. Fee estimates are provided during initial consultation and confirmed in writing before engagement. Service fees are separate from Government filing fees, translation costs, courier charges, and other third-party expenses.

5.2 Payment Schedule

Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. Generally, an initial payment is required before commencing work, with the balance due upon completion or at specified milestones. All fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿).

5.3 Refund Policy

Service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. If you cancel engagement before we begin processing, you may be entitled to a partial refund minus any work already performed and administrative costs. Refunds are not provided for application rejections or delays caused by Government Authorities, as our services constitute professional advisory work regardless of outcome.

5.4 Late Payment

Overdue payments may incur late fees and may result in suspension of services. We reserve the right to pause application processing until outstanding balances are paid.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Meridique and protected by Thai and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

You grant us a limited license to use information and documents you provide solely for the purpose of delivering immigration advisory services. We maintain ownership of any templates, processes, or methodologies developed in the course of our practice.

7. Limitations and Disclaimers

7.1 No Guarantees

We cannot provide specific outcomes or processing timelines. Immigration decisions are made solely by Government Authorities based on their assessment of your eligibility and compliance with current regulations. While we strive to prepare accurate and complete applications, we cannot control or influence Government Authority decisions.

7.2 Regulatory Changes

Thai immigration regulations are subject to change. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of relevant regulatory changes that affect your application, but we are not responsible for unexpected policy modifications by Government Authorities.

7.3 Third-Party Actions

We are not responsible for delays, errors, or issues caused by third parties, including Government Authorities, courier services, translation providers, or employers providing supporting documentation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Meridique's total liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount of fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost income, business opportunities, or expenses incurred due to application delays or rejections.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law, such as liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.

9. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and documents. Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act. We will not disclose your information to third parties except:

  • When required for processing your application with Government Authorities
  • To trusted service providers who assist in service delivery (under confidentiality agreements)
  • When required by Thai law or legal process
  • With your explicit written consent

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by Client

You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice. You remain responsible for payment of all fees for work completed up to the termination date.

10.2 Termination by Meridique

We reserve the right to terminate services if you fail to comply with these Terms, provide false information, fail to make required payments, or if continuing service would violate professional standards or legal requirements.

10.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination, we will provide you with all original documents and work completed to date. You acknowledge that incomplete applications may affect your immigration status, and we are not responsible for consequences of service termination.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Thai courts in Bangkok.

11.2 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If you have concerns about our services, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss resolution.

11.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under Thai law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes affecting existing service agreements will be communicated directly to affected clients. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
